The top 10 reason’s Gayle Luster loves Clint Eastwood.

10.  He often writes the scores for his own movies.

09.  He is an actor’s director.

08.  He is man’s man.

07.  Mystic River his academy award winning movie in which Sean Penn won a long overdue Oscar.

06.  Million Dollar Baby his academy award winning movie in which Hiliary Swank won a much deserved second Oscar.

05.  He is committed to making geezers look good.  He has devoted much of his recent work to the transmuting image of the aging American man. He does this without being patronizing or inaccessible.

04.  Grand Torinio his newest movie and reported his last acting role.

03.  He’s 78.  He makes aging look attractive (not unrealistic – just interesting and accessible.)  He can “make my day” any old day.  His wife is younger than me!

02.  His marriage to Dina Ruiz in 1996 and their 36 year age difference.  He is quoted as saying this about her -  “Love is much stronger when one meets in the second half of one’s life. It hits you when you least expect it. If I have a message, it is simply to say, ‘Don’t let anything pass.”
