I’m hoping you can help… my situation seems different from most age-gap relationships that I read about. I’m not in my 20s and childless. I’m late 30s, with several young children (youngest is 2). He is early 50s, with 2 teenagers.
I’m struggling with how this relationship will work long term. We get along fabulously, but I don’t know how we’d blend our families together, esp since he will probably be looking to retire in the next 10 yrs, when my children will still be at home.
I need advice in this area. Surely my situation isn’t totally unique in terms of age-gap relationships, but I just don’t see how to navigate this situation. I’m falling in love and I’m now scared of getting hurt in an impossible situation.
